Yale & Towne Sparta Door Plate

Cast bronze door plate made by Yale & Towne. Cir. 1910. Sparta design. It features a unique elongated oval shape with a bead border. The door plate measures 8 3/8" h x 2 1/4"w. This appears to be the larger exterior door version with a 3" center to center distance between the doorknob hole and keyhole. It is marked on the back with the Yale & Towne logo. Nice dark coppery patina.
