Sargent Andros Doorknob

Sargent Andros Doorknob Cast brass doorknob made by Sarget. Andros design. This doorknob was also used with Greenfield design. Cir. 1910-1926. It features a concentric design with a slightly textured center. The doorknob measures 2 1/4"diam. It takes a standard sized threaded shaft. It comes complete with original set screw for securing the shaft. If you need a shaft, please let us know. We may be able to match up a shaft for an additional $5.

Sargent Manufacturing was founded in 1857 in New Britain, Ct. by brothers Joseph, George and Edward Sargent. In 1864 they moved to New Haven, CT. They were a distributor for the Mallory Wheeler Company up until about 1882. Sargent Lock continues today under the ownership of Assa Abloy.
