Reading 1899 Windsor Druggist Drawer Pull

Cast bronze decorative bin pull with nickel plating made by Reading. Cir. 1900-1911. One variation of the popular Windsor design.  Eastlake style with a floral motif and textured background. The pull measures 4 1/16"l  1 5/8"h. It has a 3 1/2" center to center distance for the mounting screws. No manufacturers markings. There is a slot at the top to put a label into. A good amount of the nickel plating remains.

Reading Hardware began in 1872 in Reading, Pennsylvania. It produced both basic and highly decorative builders hardware. Reading’s hardware was used in many notable buildings including the White House in Washington, D.C. The operation closed in 1950.
