Reading Eulalia Flush Sash Lift

Decorative flush sash lift plate made by Reading. Cir. 1897-1899. It is made of wrought bronze. It features leaf and floral motifs along the outside edge. The lift measures 4"l x 2"w. The recessed area that would need to be cut out measures 2 1/4"l x 7/8"w. It has two holes on the inside of the recessed area for attachment.

It has been polished just enough so that you can see the detail, but has a dark patina over most of the surface.

Reading Hardware began in 1872 in Reading, Pennsylvania. It produced both basic and highly decorative builders hardware. Reading’s hardware was used in many notable buildings including the White House in Washington, D.C. The operation closed in 1950.
