Cast iron decorative double coat hook made by Reading. Cir. 1885. Eastlake style design with decorative elements covering every surface. The mounting area measures 2 1/2"h x 1 1/2"w and has two holes for mounting. The top hook extends out 4". Total height is about 3 1/4".

Reading

Reading Hardware began in 1872 in Reading, Pennsylvania. It produced both basic and highly decorative builders hardware. Reading’s hardware was used in many notable buildings including the White House in Washington, D.C. The operation closed in 1950.
