Pair of door face plates. Made of wrought brass. "Hampton" design by Sargent & Co. Cir. 1920. The door plates feature rounded corners and shaping. The door plates measure 7 1/8"l x 2 3/8"w. each. They have a nice patina.

Sargent Manufacturing was founded in 1857 in New Britain, Ct. by brothers Joseph, George and Edward Sargent. In 1864 they moved to New Haven, CT. They were a distributor for the Mallory Wheeler Company up until about 1882. Sargent Lock continues today under the ownership of Assa Abloy.
