Pair of White Enamel Ridged Doorknobs 2
Pair of white enamel doorknobs with a unique squared ridge across the middle. These are quite hard to find. They were probably only made by Branford Lock Works for a short time around 1879. Cast iron necks, one is flared at the end. This was a typical setup for rim locks where the flared doorknob would go against the lock.
The knobs measure 2 1/2" in diameter. Comes complete with a doorknob shaft fitting doors between 1 5/8"-2 1/2" thickness (measured without door plates/lock). If a different sized shaft is needed, please let us know. We may be able to accommodate different sizes.
This Pair of White Enamel Ridged Doorknobs 2 is an antique item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear. We attempt to include any significant damage beyond regular wear within the description. We make every effort to clean as much paint, dirt and rust off of items while still leaving as much of the original patina as possible. Photos shown are of actual item you will receive.
