Mid Century Stanley Brass Knob with Plate

Mid century cast brass knob with backplate from a Stanley china cabinet. The plate is oval and measures 3"l x 7/8"w. It has holes at each end for securing brad nails and a center hole for the knob part. The knob is a loop type hold with squared ends. It measures 1"l. Possibly made by Keeler Brass, as other hardware from the cabinet is marked Keeler.

Keeler Brass Company began in 1873 under the management of 3 brothers. It produced mainly furniture hardware, but also developed a few brass parts for the Model T vehicle. In 1921, they expanded to producing wood screws as well as hardware. They still produce American made furniture hardware today.
