Kenton 1892 Doorknob Set

Kenton 1892 Doorknob Set Doorknob set made by Kenton Lock, cir. 1892. Made of bronze. The doorknobs are highly decorated on top and bottom with an Eastlake style design of geometric and floral motifs. They measure 2 1/4"diam.  The shaft is adjustable to fit doors between 1 1/4"- 2 3/8" thick measured without door plates. If you need a different size shaft, please let us know. We may be able to swap out. Excellent condition with a nice patina.

Kenton Lock

The Kenton Lock Manufacturing Co. began in 1890 in Kenton, Ohio. Later it became the Kenton Hardware Company and produced a variety of cast iron goods including stoves, banks and toys. It at one point was one of the largest cast iron toy manufacturers in the world.
