Skeleton key for use with door locks made by Kean & Doty Mfg. It has a flat shaft that is marked K&D Mfg. Co.  on one side. At the neck it is marked 4. The key measures 2 7/8"l with a 3/4"l pin (insert). The bit has small notches on each side near the bottom. It also has a notch bottom center. The bit measures  5/8" high from the top of the pin. 

Kean & Doty was based out of Cleveland, Ohio and was the precursor company to Taylor & Boggis.
