Hand Painted Victorian Porcelain Doorknob

Beautiful white porcelain doorknob with hand painted floral design.  Paint extends all around knob and underneath. Cir. 1870. One knob and shaft. The shaft is set up for a non-threaded knob and will need a compression type set screw to hold knob on reverse (or you could tap a hole for a regular screw). The knob has a slight groove across the center which may be from manufacture process, it is original and not damage, as the glaze and paint extend over it. The knob is in excellent condition.
