Corbin 1905 Druggist Drawer Pull
Decorative cast iron bin pull with attached label slot made by Corbin. This matches the 1895 bin pull but the druggist pull is only seen in the 1905 catalogue. Eastlake style decoration with geometric and floral/leaf motifs. The bin pull measures 3 1/4"l x 1 1/2"h. It has a 2 3/4" center to center distance for mounting screws. The back is marked 3833 4333(?).
This Corbin 1905 Druggist Drawer Pull is an antique or salvaged item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear. We attempt to include any significant damage beyond regular wear within the description. We make every effort to clean as much paint, dirt and rust off of items while still leaving as much of the original patina as possible.
Corbin
P&F Corbin was founded by brothers Philip and Frank Corbin in New Britain, CT. in 1851. Interestingly, Philip previously worked for the company that would become Russell and Erwin, which Corbin would merge with in 1902. It ran with a number of subsidiary companies in the 1900’s including Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., Corbin Screw Company and even a Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation! Corbin is still in business today under ownership of Assa Abloy under the name Corbin Russwin.
