Corbin 1895 Bin Pull

Decorative cast iron bin pull made by Corbin and seen in their 1895 catalogue. It was available in a few different sizes.  Eastlake style decoration with geometric and floral/leaf motifs. The bin pull measures 3 31/4"l x 1 1/2"h.  It has a 3" center to center distance for mounting screws. No manufacturers markings.

This Corbin 1895 Bin Pull is an antique or salvaged item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear. We attempt to include any significant damage beyond regular wear within the description. Corbin

P&F Corbin was founded by brothers Philip and Frank Corbin in New Britain, CT. in 1851. Interestingly, Philip previously worked for the company that would become Russell and Erwin, which Corbin would merge with in 1902. It ran with a number of subsidiary companies in the 1900’s including Corbin Cabinet Lock Co., Corbin Screw Company and even a Corbin Motor Vehicle Corporation! Corbin is still in business today under ownership of Assa Abloy under the name Corbin Russwin.
