Brittan Graham & Mathes Lotus Oversized Door Plate

Early oversized cast iron door plate made by Brittan Graham & Mathes. Probably made to be an exterior door plate. Lotus design, seen in 1890 catalogue. It features an Eastlake style design with floral and geometric elements over a japanned background. The door plate measures 6 1/4"h x 1 5/8"w. The center to center distance between the doorknob hole and keyhole is 3". The back of the plate is marked 7182A ,1121.
