Brittan Graham & Mathes Lotus Door Plate Bronze Plated

Early cast iron door plate with bronze plating made by Brittan Graham & Mathes. Lotus design, seen in 1890 catalogue. It features an Eastlake style design with floral and geometric elements over a japanned background. The door plate measures 5 1/2"h x 1 1/2"w. The plating is in excellent condition and much of the japanning remains.
