This Branford Oriental Sash Lift Bronze is an antique item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear. We attempt to include any significant damage beyond regular wear within the description. If multiples are ordered, a photo of additional pieces will be sent for approval.

 Branford Lock Works

Branford Lock Works began in 1852 as Squire and Parsons Manufacturing Company after a failed stove business left the factory in Branford, CT. available for lock making. The company was purchased in 1862 by Thomas Kennedy and incorporated as Branford Lock Works in 1865. In 1894, Yale & Towne purchased the company. In 1910, a strike consequently closed the plant and operations moved to the Yale and Towne headquarters in Stamford, CT.
