Barrows Geneva Doorknob Steel Finish

Cast iron doorknob made by Barrows, cir. 1920. Geneva design. It is mostly steel finish with slight hints of brass. Renaissance and Greek inspirations to the design. The doorknob measures 2 1/4"diam. It fits on a standard sized square non-threaded shaft.

Barrows Lock Works began in 1880 in Lockport, Ill. It is purchased by Yale & Towne in 1925, but they continue to produce under the barrows name until 1953.
