Barrows Baltic Door Plate

Cast bronze door plate made by Barrows. Cir. 1920. Baltic design. It has a rich copper color. It is shaped and decorated at the top and bottom with detailed floral and swirling leaf motifs. It can be seen in the Special Designs section of the 1920 catalogue. The door plate measures 8"h x 2 1/8"w.

Barrows Lock Works began in 1880 in Lockport, Ill. It is purchased by Yale & Towne in 1925, but they continue to produce under the barrows name until 1953.
