Bordeaux design. This design was originally offered in cast bronze, brass or iron. It features a highly decorative swirl pattern with raised edges forming to a center nub. The swirls resemble large flowing leaves. Cir. 1897-1914. The swirls continue on the underside of the knob. The doorknob measures 2 1\/4\" diam. In 1934, an Australia branch began which continues to this day The company was later reincorporated under the original name.
